What we collect
If you use our contact form or email us, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, organisation (if given) and your message.
Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical data such as IP addresses in server logs to deliver and secure the site. We do not use analytics or advertising tracking.
How and why we use it
We use your details only to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to manage our relationship. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
We do not sell your data, use it for marketing without your consent, or make automated decisions about you.
Who processes it for us
- Netlify, which hosts this website and receives contact-form submissions.
- Our business email provider, which delivers and stores correspondence.
These providers act on our instructions under data processing terms. Where data is transferred outside the UK, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries only as long as needed to deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you contact us again, after which they are deleted. Client records are kept as required by law.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to data portability. Email us to make a request. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
